PGL 2018

Day 1 - Monday
On the first evening we enjoyed an amazing campfire after unpacking in our beautiful rooms. Chris is our group leader - he entertains us and takes us to all of our activities.

Day 2 - Tuesday
On day 2 we had great fun. Group 1 took part in Giant Swing, Problem Solving, Trapeze and Buggy Building. Group 2 enjoyed Problem Solving, Giant Swing, Buggy Building and Trapeze. Group 3 undertook Buggy Building, Jacobs Ladder, Problem Solving and Sensory Trail. The evening activity for all of the children was Ambush! Many children have overcome their fears and everyone has challenged themselves.
Day 3 - Wednesday
We have such incredible children, their politeness and enthusiasm towards everything they do has been commented upon by so many of the PGL staff already. Today the groups have taken part in Fencing, Beach Walk, Aeroball, Giant Swing, Survivor, Trapeze and The Challenge Course. The evening activity was a picnic on the beach. The weather has been surperb, this matches our mood and the attitude of the children.
Day 4 - Thursday
Our final full day of activities has developed our techical skills, sensory skills, physical skills and again tested our bravery. We have tried: Archery, Aeroball, Sensory Trail, Trapeze, Jacobs Ladder, Abseiling and Challenge Course. The children have taking more and more risks as the week has gone on and every child has pushed themselves to develop new skills or overcome their fears - especially of heights. Our level of pride is now overflowing!
The final activity for Thursday was the Disco.
Day 5 - Friday
On the final morning of the week we undertook a beach walk, team games and survivor. This was a great opportunity for us to explore the grounds of this beautiful site for one last time.
Overview
This has been a fantasic residential visit - the children have been incredible, every child has developed personally and socially.
