High Weald Heroes
In 2011 we became High Weald Heroes, learning more about our local area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and devising our own Welly Walk around the village.
The published walk guide is available at local libraries. It includes safety advice and detailed directions and things to look out for, all created and described by the pupils.
We have been undertaking many projects linked to keeping our area beautiful - we have planted a wild flower meadow, planted fruit trees and had a willow dome added in our school grounds.
In the Summer Term, our Year 6 students completed the John Muir Award.
