Following instruction in French to make a crepe.

Picture1

At Stonegate we use French to develop the children's interest and enjoyment of a language.

Madame Greenwood, teaches each class, each week enabling children to build their vocabulary, confidence and conversational understanding of the French Language.

During the year the subject is enriched during a European Day of Langauges and every term the children who demonstrate exceptional effort are made the 'Grand Fromage'.

Curriculum Documents

We aim to provide through high quality teaching and learning experiences every child with the key knowledge and transferrable skills they require to achieve in all subjects and develop a love of learning which will be with them for their whole life.

The documents below outline how we do this for French:

Please note that it is our aim to follow the units in the suggested mixed aged order by Kapow Primary, however as we have a specialist languages teacher, we may change them if we feel that they would work better linked to other units / topics from across the National Curriculum.
