Music and Performance play a big part of the life of children at Stonegate. 

From their very first term, children are singing and performing in front of audiences. 

Music is used for the development of voacabulary, rhyme and the enjoyment of words.

Children are Stonegate are strongly encouraged to join our Choir.

  • Inter-related dimensions of music: pulse, pitch, duration, dynamics, tempo, timbre, texture, structure, musical notation

Please note that it is our aim to follow the units in the suggested mixed aged order by Kapow Primary, however we may change them if we feel that they would work better linked to other units / topics from across the National Curriculum.
