Allowing children to be more reflective
To provide our children with further opportunities to think deeply and reflect on their experiences we have built a permanent Prayer Space / Reflection Area in our school prayground.
Children from all classes are encouraged to use this area and can chose whether they complete one of the activities available to them (https://www.prayerspacesinschools.com/) or just spend time quiet playing with their friends.
A number of children have chosen to be monitors for the Prayer Space, they decide on the activities which are available for others to use and ensure the space is welcoming and inviting.

Prayer Spaces
We enjoy running a prayer space week each year. It is a wonderful opportunity for the children, staff, parents and governors to participate in exploring different ways to pray and reflect.
