Reception Class Home Learning
Our remote learning plan has been made with our pupils and their families in mind. We believe that this strategy will work best for the children at our school. The work set is aimed at consolidating previous learning and designed to enable the children to work independently.
Children in Reception are expected to complete 1-2 activities per day, this may from their ‘pick ‘n’ mix challenges, engage in online learning resources, a challenge from Tapestry or follow their own interests for learning. Learning Resources can be found on our School’s website.
You have full autonomy and flexibility with your timetable.
We do suggest though that you try to have a set routine for the children.
The children will be in contact with Miss Pope and Mrs Mortimer at least twice a day Monday to Thursday. This will be accessed via G-Suite (google classroom).
This contact time is a chance for teachers to talk to children, to discuss learning and to support well-being for all.
